Cuesta college provides a collection of electronic books (eBooks) through NetLibrary. This collection of electronic books is indexed in the library's catalog WebCat. When searching for books in WebCat, electronic books are identified as follows:
Accessing eBooks Access to the eBooks found in WebCat will depend on whether you are on or off campus.
On Campus From on campus simply click on the view icon
Off Campus From off campus you WILL NOT be able to click on the electronic access link as show above. To access eBooks from off campus you will need to log into myCuesta and link to NetLibrary from the library channel on the Resource tab (see example below).
Once at the NetLibrary search screen you can search for eBooks that are in the collection or if you note the title of the eBook you found through WebCat you can search for that title directly (see example below).
Note: In some cases, given how NetLibrary catalogs it resources, you may be able to find books in the NetLibrary collection by searching it directly, that you would not find by searching WebCat. Other eBook Sites |
