The Library/Information Technology program is designed to prepare individuals for employment as a para-professional in a public, school, academic or special library or information center.

Graduates of the Library/Information Technology program may be employed in a school library or in the public service or technical division of a public library. They could manage a small library or work in a museum or corporate facility. Opportunities may also be found in bookstores, publishing, hospitals or computerized information facilities. Duties and responsibilities vary.
