Library/Information Technology Program - Meet Our Faculty (Mary Barth)

After graduating from Cal Poly with a B.S. and working for non-profits, and her husbands appraisal business, Mary ventured out into a new career in library science.

While assisting the school district with library automation she enrolled and completed Cuesta's Library/Information Technology program. She expanded her library skills while working for the Paso Robles Public Library and by opening the new library at Cuesta's North Campus.

Enticed by the academic environment of libraries, Mary completed her MLIS at San Jose State University and is currently working as a part-time reference librarian. She is currently teaching LIBT 212, Research Skills for the Information Age at Cuesta's North Campus.

Mary's hobbies include snow skiing, water skiing, traveling, and volunteering in the community.
